A Citroen DS
An Armstrong Siddeley Sapphire
A DAF 33 (or any DAF except a truck actually)
They had something unusual in common in the transmission department.
EDIT: they all had, or were available with, a centrifugal clutch. Standard on DAFs, optional on the Sapphire, at first standard and later optional on the DS.

I’m guessing they shared some sort of Hydraulic button/pedal operated semi-automatic gearbox.

DAF Variomatic CVT is best CVT! They need to make a comeback as a no-nonsense city car.
However all of them were great innovations in the area of gearboxes.

I wouldn’t say they all had NO clutch - the DAF didn’t as it’s a CVT, the Armstrong Siddeley DID as did the DS, the A-S and DS just didn’t require the driver to use a clutch pedal...
SO...I would say all three didn’t have a clutch PEDAL. :)

Well, the DAF also had a clutch, however it was a centrifugal one IIRC.

Is part of the answer - all had or were available with centrifugal clutches. Just like a chainsaw.
